drdpartners.com - 2022 | v1
Dan, Andy, Tristin,
Our first set of designs for your website is ready! 🎉🥳. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you review the links below:
- These are "static" mockups, so you can't interact with them beyond scrolling up and down
- There are 4 variations on a single theme, labeled v1a (version 1a), v1b, etc.
- They have been designed to mimic a laptop screen, so if you look at it on a large screen you may see gutters. Conversely, if you are viewing them on a mobile phone they won't be "responsive" (i.e. mobile friendly)
- The kind of feedback we are looking for is primarily about the layout and the overall look & feel of the homepage designs you see here
- It is okay to provide feedback on copy and images during this stage; we understand that the wrong words and images can be distracting. However, keep in mind that this isn't the primary goal of this round, and it's much easier and faster to fine tune the messaging and lesser visuals later.
- If you love certain aspects of the mockup, yay! Please let us know specifically what you love
- If you really dislike any aspects of this design, that's okay too! We have 3 rounds of revisions to get this looking exactly like you want. As long as your feedback is as constructive and specific as possible, we will get to the finish line with everyone happy
- Please take note of your initial reaction, but also take time to review the design in detail
- When you are ready, let us know if you prefer to send written feedback or review in real-time
Notes from Meeting 9/26 with Dan & Andy
- Version E is winner in every aspect (sharp edges, textured background, asset on top of box rather than behind box in Research, Design, Engineering section)
- Image at top will actually be slider of 5 separate products that are tied to the 5 projects at the bottom of the page
- Find a better sketch of the Caliga shoe on the current slide
- Swap out Lining shots shots and do some Rudis pop up shops
- Default state of buttons will be ghost, hover state should be orange background and text with sufficient contrast to match
- Our work photos, tone down background colors should be more subdued
- Work in some photos that Dan provided (including swapping out factory shots which are stock now)
- Below client logos, add a "a partial list of our clients include:" like on the home page
