Here's a few things to keep in mind about the mockup:
- Firstly, this mockup is "static" so you can't interact with it (beyond scrolling up and down)
- This mockup is designed to mimic a laptop screen, so if you look at it on a large screen you may see gutters, and if you look at it on a mobile phone it won't be "responsive".
- The kind of feedback we are looking for is primarily about the layout as well as the overall look & feel of the site
- It is okay to provide feedback on copy and images at this stage, however, since it is your first time viewing the design. We are definitely more than happy to change out the copy/images if you would like in a revision. But keep in mind that this isn't the primary goal of this round and it's much easier to fine tune content in the buildout stage
- If you love certain aspects of the mockup, awesome! Please let us know (specifically) what those are.
- If you really dislike any aspects of this design, that's okay too!
- We have 3 rounds of revisions to get this looking exactly like you want. We just ask that your feedback is as constructive and specific as possible
- Please take note of your initial reaction, but take your time to review the design in detail.
- When you send us your feedback, we are very interested in both your first impression and in as many detailed notes as possible.

Initial design uses EB Garamond as the heading font and Roboto as the body font.
- Font Study
This mockup contains several variants on the main Heading font of fonts we tried, in an effort to match the logo font more closely while using Google Fonts and Adobe fonts (better for web). Please note, not all fonts (including navigation and body) have been changed. Just "Timeless Maine at its Finest" has been treated.
- Home v2
Inverted colors. Yellow is now the action color. E.g, anything clickable! All other references were changed to use the blue color.
Also updated all headings to Questa Grande.
Additional requests from Danielle:
- There is a lot on the home page: maybe remove the image on the bottom and use that one for the top image
- Reorder in terms of priority: Move 'Events and occasions' block below the guest review
- On the top corner, use the logo without the tagline so it's not overused
- Change 'Experience Maine' to just 'Maine' so it doesn't overpower the navigation menu
